Excuse me I am not french but i'm trying. You said what i wanted to oringnally  say.

It is true the people of this provence are really sad and what is worse is that there are no laws that actually defend animals.

by the way your french is very good... we understand what you mean and what you write is excellent ... the animals need more people like you   ! !  ; )
