Nous sommes un groupe de citoyens Marocains et étrangers basés entre Tanger et Asilah. Beaucoup parmi nous vivent sur la Côte Atlantique entre Asilah et Larache, dans les villages de Dmina, Beni Moslem, Rohuna, Baniounien, Beni Melek, Cherqallel, Charrouah, Misghelf.

Quelques uns parmi nous possèdent des terres près de l’Oued Nakhla, un fleuve qui se jette dans l’océan entre Sidi Mgait et Sidi Bouqsibat.

Depuis deux ans nous assistons tous avec consternation au pillage par des particuliers du sable des dunes atlantiques autour de l’embouchure de l’oued.

Dans les derniers jours, ces mêmes particuliers, qui doivent avoir dans la région un projet dont nous ignorons la nature, ont attaqué la rivière, après qu’ils aient installé un gigantesque réservoir (on parle de 21.000 tonnes) à sa proximité immédiate. Ils creusent en ce moment dans le lit de la rivière pour y installer des pompes à fin de détourner l’eau douce et précieuse vers leur réservoir.

Ces actes signifient la perte d’une source de vie pour une partie de nous, pour les terres et les animaux. Les derniers kilomètres de l’Oued Nakhla seront asséchés puisque son eau partira chez des particuliers.

Tout cela en abimant de façon inacceptable pour nous tous, Marocains et étrangers, un écosystème, et en détruisant un des plus beaux lieux des Cotes Marocaines.

Par cette lettre nous prions, toutes les Autorités, de bien vouloir intervenir avec la plus grande célérité, afin de nous protéger contre cette menace, et d’éviter que des incidents ne se produisent.

We invite the citizens of the whole world to express and show their
solidarity with this petition.

We are a group of Moroccan citizens and Expats living between Tanger
and Asilah. Many of us live on the Atlantic Coast between Asilah and
Larache, in the villages of Dmina, Beni Moslem, Rohuna, Baniounien,
Beni Melek, Cherqallel, Charrouah, Misghelf.

Some of us own some land near Oued Nakhla, a river that flows into the
ocean between Sidi Mgait and Sidi Bouqsibat.

For the past two years we have seen private citizens steal sand from
the Atlantic dunes around the river outlet.

In these last few days, the same private citizens - who must have a
project in mind for this area although we are unaware of its nature -
have been attacking the river after they put a giant reservoir (we are
talking about 21.000 tons) in its direct proximity. In this very
moment they are digging the riverbed where they intend to install
pumps that will allow them to divert precious sweet water and lead it
to their reservoir.

These acts will cause loss of a life source for some of us, for our
land and our animals. The last few kilometers of the Oued Nakhla will
be dried out since its waters will lead to private citizens.

This is going to ruin an ecosystem in a way that is unacceptable for
all of us, Moroccans and Expats; furthermore, it is going to destroy
one of the most beautiful places of the Moroccan coasts.

With this letter we ask all Authorities to quickly stop this and to
protect us from this menace so as to ensure that no accident will
occur.

ندعو الموطنين والموطنات العالم للتعبير عن هذه ظاهرة و أظهار تضامنهم مع هذه العريضة

_  نحن مجموعة من المواطنين المغاربة والأجانب مرتكزين بين مدينتي طنجة وأصيلة ، الكثير منا يعيش على ساحل المحيط الأطلسي

 بين أصيلة و العرائش  في قرى دمينا ، بني مسلم ، بني مالك ، رهونة ، شرقالل ، شرواح ، مزغالف .

_  بعض منا لديه أرض بالقرب من واد النخلة ، النهر الذي يصب في المحيط الأطلسي ، بين سيدي مغايت و سيدي

بو قصيبات .

_ على مدى العامين الماضيين قد شهدنا مع الأسف كل عمليات السلب و النهب من قبل الأفراد من الكثبان الرملية أطلسي

حول منفذ النهر. وفي الأيام القليلة الماضية قام نفس الشخص الذي يجهل عوالم الطبيعة بإعطاء انطلاقة مشروع الذي

ينعكس على ساكنة المنطقة ، بحيث بدأ باستغلال الوادي ، حيث بدأ بتركيب خزان ضخم المعروف باسم (21000 طن)

على مقربة مباشر منه . يحفرون الآن في قاع النهر لتركيب مضخات لتحويل نهاية للمياه العذبة وقيمة لصلحهم  .........

_  هذه الإجراءات يعني فقدان مصدر الحياة بالنسبة للبعض منا ، من أجل الأرض و الحيوانات ، وسيم استنزاف كيلومترا

الأخيرة من المياه  واد النخلة كما أن جفت هده مياه سيؤدي إلى الخرب في طريق النظام البيئي وهذا غير مقبول ، مثل

هذه الممارسة لا أخلاقية و الأنانية الفردي تمس بساكناتنا و تدمر أجمل الأماكن و المناطق الساحلية بلدنا   .

من خلال هده الرسالة نلتمس من كل السلطات، للتدخل بأقصى سرعة ممكنة، و المواطنين الغيورين على هده البلد أن

يقوموا بحمايتنا من هذا التهديد وذلك لضمان عدم وجود حادث ويل قد تحدث.
