En tant qu'Américain et originaire de New-York, j'ai profondément honte de la tentative de coup monté contre DSK. Ce n'était pas la routine de la justice américaine, qui a beaucoup de problèmes certainement (par exemple, la discrimination de classe, et le racisme), particulierment à New York, avec son département de police ultra-droitier. Mais cela a été spécialement conçu pour détruire DSK.

Pourquoi est-ce que le Sofitel a appelé l'Elysée? (Combien de réponses innocents peut-on donner à CETTE question?) Pourquoi les mesures physiques extrêmes prises contre DSK ? Et qui a déposé 100 000 $ dans le compte bancaire de la bonne hôtel? [Voir: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/01/nyregion/strauss-kahn-case-seen-as-in-jeopardy.html ] Pourquoi est-ce Cyrus Vance n'a pas enquêté sur ces questions? Pourquoi a-t-il retenu la plupart de son rapport?

En tant que socialiste, je suis profondément honteux des dirigeants du Parti socialiste français qui ont démontré lâcheté et opportunisme.

En tant qu'être humain, je suis fier de DSK pour ses commentaires qui font réfléchir et convaincants hier soir.

Et comme, depuis hier soir, DSK s'est montré, meme au milieu d'un cauchemar, pourtant un grand homme d'État de la gauche, les dirigeants socialistes qu'est-ce qu'il vont faire maintenant?

As an American and a native New Yorker, I am deeply ashamed of the attempted frame-up of DSK. This was not routine American justice, which has plenty of problems to be sure (e.g., class discrimination and racism), not least of all in New York, with its ultra-Rightist police department. This was especially designed to destroy DSK.

Why did the hotel call Sarkozy? (How many innocent answers can one give to THAT question?) Why the extreme physical measures taken against DSK? And who deposited $100,000 in the hotel maid’s bank account? Why hasn’t Vance investigated these questions? Why has he withheld most of his report?

As a socialist I am deeply ashamed of the leaders of the French Socialist Party who have demonstrated cowardice and opportunism.

As a human I am proud of DSK for his thought-provoking and compelling comments tonight.

And since tonight DSK has shown himself, in the midst of a nightmare, nevertheless a great statesman of the Left, what will the Socialist leaders do now?
