This issue has double sides, the subject of reciprocity is relative since the Schengen countries could simply reply by asking Lebanon to set a visa for all its visitors. They could argue on that: " We, as Schengen countries would like to monitor our borders, and you Lebanese have the right to do the same and ask for a visa entry from all visitors. Now if you don't want to do so it 's your decision. "
That's why the issue here isn't to sign a petition for the Schengen states and ask them to stop asking us for a visa entry, we on the other hand should ask our Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to start asking for an entry visa for all visitors that we don't have an agreement of reciprocity with.

Nevertheless, i will sign the petition as support for any matter related to equal treatment.
